Hello! I know that I have been gone for a while, but I have some good news . 8 Start will be updated soon(ish)!

Here's a list of things I planned to add:

-Tweet@rama like twitter client
-Splash screens
-Offline metro apps
-Small widescreen support
-Even better UI
-Music player (most likely not)
-Square tiles

Thing's I'm taking out:

-Full IE support
  -It will still work on ie, but transition will not
  -A few apps here and there
